Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of four generations of the Robertses to reside in the Atlanta region, beginning by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theater from a young stage. As studying at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in 1953. During his time being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in Air Force. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in 1957. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter was employed to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the television show Bum Bum His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed on their own. They also established the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. The couple also had two children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know by the same name Julie).
