Her father John Hennessy was a meat salesman and sales/marketing executive who required extensive traveling and led to frequent moves for the family. Maxine, her secretary mother was the last of her family members when she relocated from Kitchener Ontario in 1982. Her daughter was then turned over to her grandmother Eleanor. Her younger brother is John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. and an identical twin sister Jacqueline She is a journalist for a magazine and a TV show hosts in Canada. Hennessy has a father that is of Irish French Swedish Italian descent and her mother, on the other hand, is predominantly Ukrainian Roma with Austrian roots. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to appear in the subway system of Toronto.
